Meet the Leadership Team

  • Gary Farr

Gary Farr - Church Council Chair

I am currently serving as the Oakbrook Leadership Council Chair. I also lead the Facilities Team which has maintenance responsibilities for the Oakbrook building and grounds.

I have worshiped at Oakbrook for over 10 years. Since first attending Oakbrook, my wife Carol and I have been impressed with the openness and the opportunity to be ourselves here. The family atmosphere of accepting who you are and the acknowledgment that we all struggle to live our lives as God intended has been instrumental in our spiritual growth.

We are both originally from northeast Pennsylvania and moved to Green Bay in 1992. Carol and I are retired and have two daughters and five grandchildren.

  • Larry Kemp

    Larry Kemp - Ministry Director

My wife Karen and I started attending Oakbrook Church in 2007 after moving to De Pere. Soon after, we became members and started serving the church in various ways.

I took over as the Finance Director for a short time and then the head usher and assisted with the Maintenance Team helping with minor repairs and mowing lawn.

We consider Oakbrook Church our family and feel blessed by knowing such great people. Both my wife and I are retired and we are honored to serve God and others.

On November 6, I joined our church council as the Meet God Ministry Director and now have the privilege of working with the usher & greeter, worship, hospitality, children’s ministry, maintenance and decorating teams.

  • Joyce Hafemann - Council Member

I currently serve on the media team, operating the slides, and fill in on the hospitality team. I recently became a member of the council.

I came to the Oakbrook family over 15 years ago after retiring and moving to Green Bay to live with my sister. I have five children, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. I enjoy many hobbies, including painting, crocheting, and traveling.

  • Sharon Schultz

    Sharon Scultz - Council Member

I have been serving on the Church Council since the Fall of 2023. Currently, I also lead the Usher and Greeter team. I first attended Oakbrook when it was meeting at the Ashwaubenon High School many years ago. I so enjoyed the fellowship and the teaching of God’s Word that I made Oakbrook my church home. Since then, I have been involved in many areas including Financial Secretary, Discipleship, Bible Study, and the Mission Team. I have been blessed to be part of a loving church family that has helped me to grow spiritually and serve God. I am retired from the banking business as a financial analyst and enjoy traveling, biking, and reading mysteries.

  • Craig Rosner

    Craig Rosner - Council Member

I have been a part of the Oakbrook family on and off for a little over 20 years. I have an awesome wife, Kim, and two great boys. I currently run the sound board/online streaming, serve on the council, as well as help out with any projects where my skills may be needed. I have been involved with scouting since 2011. My summers are spent at our property in the north woods where my wife and I plan to spend our retirement many, many years from now.

  • Nicole Kastning - Worship Director

DI feel so blessed to be able to use the talents God has given me to lead worship at Oakbrook. It is pure joy to be able to play and sing for the Lord with the people of Oakbrook. I have been serving Jesus in some capacity for 25+ years.

My husband, Joshua and I have been attending Oakbrook since the beginning of 2024 and enjoy it very much. We love the authentic, honest sermons, and the kind people we have met.

We look forward to growing connections, and relationships with the body of Christ. When not serving at Oakbrook, I am attending master’s school full-time.

We enjoy spending time with friends and family, hanging out with our daughter Makayla, taking our dog on adventures and enjoying God’s creation through hiking, camping and spending time outdoors. I enjoy anything creative, working on our house, and gardening.

Can’t wait to meet you at Oakbrook!
